The vision for Arctic North Summer Conference 2017

This year's conference is aimed at Israel and the Jewish people. We want to bless Israel and show that we are standing with them. We will organise a special prayer meeting for Israel on Monday 17^th July at 5.07 pm. Please let us know beforehand, if you will be arriving already on Monday.

The conference begins officially on Tuesday, 18^th July at 6 pm Norwegian time. Every morning there will be morning prayer meetings and there will be a special prayer tent throughout the conference. During the afternoons there will be seminars on Dance, Inner healing and Father’s heart. On Friday and Saturday there will be meetings specifically devoted to Israel. Juha Ketola, the International Director of the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem, and Israel Pochtar, a messianic pastor from Ashdod, will be leading the meetings. During the week we also have other strong preachers as Arild Måsø and Nils Anders Bueng from Sámiland, Martin & Linda Reén from Sweden, Jorma & Tarja Lappalainen, Tomi Vartiainen and Heikki Hilvo from Finland, Greenlandic pastor Brian Wind and Greg & Valerie Ellis from the USA. This year we are fortunate to have many gifted worship leaders and groups joining us: Linda Laukkonen, Zacharias Fjellander, Victor Richkov Band and Friddja.

Special Event
On Saturday 22^nd July we will be having Juha’s and Vaatu’s wedding during the conference. The bride and groom invite all conference participants to attend the ceremony starting at noon. Afterwards we will have wedding celebration, where everyone is welcome! Saturday evening we continue with the meeting focused on Israel.

Conference speakers:

Martin Reen’s ministry is all about revealing Jesus and what He has done for all men on the cross, bringing healing and restoration to the individual as well as to the body of Christ. He is also training people to move in healing as well as in prophetic ministry, in Scandinavia as well as in other nations in different parts of the world.

Arild Måsø is the founder of Sami Indigenous Christian Center. He has been travelling all over the world and the indigenous are on his heart.

Tomi Vartiainen is called by God to live and work for Him in the north. God uses him strongly in the areas of healing and deliverance. He has been encouraging and helping many young people to go forward in their gifts and callings.

Vision:

We believe that this is a special time as God’s Spirit is moving now over the north. Now is also time for the south and north to stand together in what God is doing. The purpose of this conference is to clearly show the way to the Living God and demonstrate His power.

Vision for Christian Conference for Northern People, 23th – 27th July, 2014

We believe God has great plans for the people of the North and it is time for the North to

step into their God-given destiny. During this conference we want to show that we stand together for the revival in the North. We believe that God wants to gather us together here in Sámiland and set our eyes on Him and honor eachother as He created us to reflect His image. We want to strengthen our faith that we, together can be part of in the change and new things that God wants to do here in the north.

The Lord is gathering His people in order to set us in the right place and position. During the conference we will have a reconciliation meeting between different ethnic groups forgiving and honoring the unique reflection of Christ in one another. Through worship we will stand as one Body and praise God freely giving room to eachother’s own expressions, language, culture and identity. As we worship from the authentic expression of our hearts, Christ can be more fully revealed. Further we want to strengthen each other in order to go out and reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our vision

Our vision in to advance the Christian identity of the sami people. We want that our language is being heard and used in the church life. We want to use traditional yoik way of singing in our gatherings as well as write new songs.

Our goal

Our goal is to train missionaries to work among the sami and other northern indigenous people groups. We want to organize Christian conferences for northern indigenous people groups and worship concerts.

Our work

Prayer, christian meetings, teaching, worship and mission trips among the northern indigenous people groups. We are building a mission center for northern indigenous people groups and a camping place for children and youth to Laksjohka, Tana, Norway. The center can be also used for courses, conferences and different meetings as well as summer camps for children and youth.
